Hello Everyone,

I hope your summer is a special time when many happy memories are made.  California has been having trouble deciding what season it wants to be in -- rain in June and cold weather; now it's beautiful and warm

News in the Plumb family:  A handsome new grandson, Wyatt Matthew, was born in January to Elisa and Matt Popka.

Sierra is getting married June 23 -- reception is at our house.  A busy time right now.   She is marrying Dan Stoddard, a fine young man she met while he was in the Air Force.  His family lived in Maine.

More Family News

I will be traveling to Louisiana & Texas in July, Kentucky & Tennessee in August.  If you are interested in having me do a "Health Party" for you, feel free to contact me.  They are fun and very informative.  Or if you would just like to get connected when I'm in your neck of the woods that would be great also.

We are very excited about our business and how it is changing people's lives.  It is very rewarding and satisfying. If interested in more information we can help

Tip of the Day!

Burnt Popcorn Smell in the Microwave
To get rid of this awful lingering stink, fill a large microwave-safe bowl with one cup of water and sprinkle your favorite spice like cinnamon or add several drops of vanilla or lemon extract. Bring to a boil. You must let it sit inside for 10 to 15 minutes to cool down. Simply wipe the walls down with paper towels. Leave the door open to further air it out.

Featured Product: TRE-EN-EN: Energy in a bottle!
Did you know that Tre-en-en means "three in one."  This unique and exclusive whole-food blend of extracts from wheat, rice, and soy "feeds your cells" with important phytonutrients. Developed and introduced by GNLD in 1958, Tre-en-en Grain Concentrates is the original phytonutrient supplement. It provides phyto-lipids, including omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids essential for optimum health and cellular function, plus the plant sterols beta-sitosterol, gamma-oryzanol, stimasterol and campesterol.

Besides optimizing cellular nutrition, plant sterols may have other beneficial effects as well. These include reducing cholesterol levels, lowering the risk of atheroscelerosis and inhibiting tumors. Octacosanol, which is a closely related component, is also included to aid in critical biological functions.

This Month in History:

UNIVAC COMPUTER DEDICATED
June 14, 1951

On June 14, 1951, the U.S. Census Bureau dedicates UNIVAC, the world's first commercially produced electronic digital computer. UNIVAC, which stood for Universal Automatic Computer, was developed by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly, makers of ENIAC, the first general-purpose electronic digital computer. These giant computers, which used thousands of vacuum tubes for computation, were the forerunners of today's digital computers.

"FRANKLY, MY DEAR...."
June 27, 1939

On this day in 1939, one of the most famous scenes in movie history is filmed--Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara parting in Gone with the Wind. Director Victor Fleming also shot the scene using the alternate line, "Frankly, my dear, I just don't care," in case the film censors objected to the word "damn." The censors approved the movie but fined producer David O. Selznick $5,000 for including the curse.
